Dumsor

Know when the lights are going out, before they do. Dumsor maps the official ECG load-shedding schedule to your group, alerts you before every cut, and shows live reports from your neighbours. Built for the people who feel dumsor every day. THE TIMETABLE, WITH TEETH The official ECG load-shedding schedule is published — but reading it is a job. We do that job for you. Pick your area once, we match it to your group (A, B, C, D, E…) and your region. From that moment on, every scheduled cut is on a live countdown. No more scrolling PDFs. • Live countdown to your next cut — days, hours, minutes • Today's total dark hours, at a glance • Endurance card — a 7-day visual of how hard your area is being hit • Block alerts: 30 minutes before, when it starts, when light returns • Reboot-safe — scheduled alerts survive a device restart LIVE AREA PULSE Schedules slip. Surprise maintenance cuts happen. When your neighbours start reporting outages off-schedule, you'll know in real time. • See how many people in your zone are in the dark right now • Push notifications when your area lights up with reports • One-tap reports — red when power dies, green when it's back • Personal report timeline, last 30 days BUILT FOR GHANA This was made here. The voice is Ghanaian — Pidgin sprinkles, dark humour, "you in the dark" energy. The UI defaults to Dum mode (dark theme) — AMOLED-friendly, easy on the eyes during long outages — and flips to Sor (light) with a tap. Areas are tuned for Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tema, and beyond. INDEPENDENT We are not affiliated with the Government of Ghana, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo), the Volta River Authority (VRA), the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), or any utility, ministry, or political party. This is a civic-tech tool built by Ghanaians for Ghanaians. Track. Predict. Prepare. Built in Accra by The Playmakers.
