About Halcyon Weather
Halcyon is a calm, honest weather app for iPhone, Apple Watch, and the Home Screen. It turns the forecast into one clear sentence — what's likely, what to plan around, what's safe to skip — instead of throwing dashboards at you. — TODAY BRIEF A short, plain-language summary of the next twelve hours: rain risk, UV, wind, and the comfort of being outside. Built from Apple Weather data, written like a friend who happens to read the chart. — HEADS UP A glanceable card surface with what actually matters: rain soon, strong wind, freeze risk, severe weather. Confidence is labelled when conditions are changing — Halcyon won't fake certainty. — BEST WINDOWS Halcyon looks ahead at the next twelve hours and recommends the best window to walk, commute, or plan an evening — no more guessing whether the rain hits before or after you leave. — ON THE WATCH AND HOME SCREEN A focused Apple Watch app and a Home Screen widget keep current conditions one glance away. — FREE OR AD-FREE Halcyon is free with two unobtrusive native ads on the forecast page. If you'd rather support the app without ads, Halcyon Ad-Free is $6.99 per year. Severe weather alerts stay free for everyone — Halcyon never paywalls danger. Forecast data is provided by Apple Weather (WeatherKit). Halcyon is built by an independent developer and is not a substitute for official severe-weather alerts. Always cross-reference with your local emergency broadcast.

See what changed overnight, keep rain timing on the Lock Screen when rain is on the way, and check U.S. air quality from AirNow. Tap any city in your locations list to jump straight to it, and the list now marks the city you're viewing. Also in this update: • Tap a location in the widget to open that city in the app • A short setup guide covering the widget, notifications, and Siri • Severe weather alerts now request notification permission on a fresh install • The widget refreshes when you add, remove, or reorder cities • Temperature units now apply to the history and year-ago strips • Metric units by default in the United Kingdom • Radar time labels read correctly on 24-hour clocks • VoiceOver reads each Best Window as a single card • Temperatures near zero no longer display as "-0°"
