About Mission Bike Lights
Mission Bike Lights puts you in control of your mesh-connected LED bike lights. Pick your patterns, set your brightness, and ride together — your lights sync automatically across every bike in the group. Requires Mission Bike Lights hardware. Visit missionbikelights.com. CUSTOMIZE YOUR RIDE * Choose which of the 60+ lighting patterns you want to see on your ride * Adjust brightness for the whole mesh or individual lights * Auto-Switch cycles through your favorites as you ride, or pick your favorite one to use all the time * Smart Brake Light flashes red when you slow down (Ultra Bright models) * Name your lights, set rotation and motion detection based on your installation and the way you ride * Push firmware updates over Bluetooth or distribute across the mesh * Apple Watch app for quick control from your wrist Your lights work great without the app too — they'll find each other, mesh up, and sync automatically right out of the box. The app just lets you make them yours! CONNECTIVITY * Bluetooth LE for direct, instant control * WiFi for whole-network updates and communication * Fully offline — no internet or account required Ride Together. Be Seen.
What’s new
Version 1.4.0 · Updated October 9, 2026
Group Program Voting When you ride with friends, your lights now pick programs everyone actually likes — not just whatever the lead light had enabled. • Everyone's picks count. Auto-switch chooses from the programs all of you selected, weighted so each light gets an equal say. A friend who picked three favorites has as much influence as someone who left fifty on. • Your selections are remembered when you join a group. Before, the lead light's list took over and your own picks stayed hidden until you rode alone again. • See how many lights chose each program, right next to it in the Programs tab. • View and change any light's program list from the Nodes tab, without connecting to that light directly — and apply your picks to the whole group in one tap. -- Requires firmware v6.8.0+ Fixed • Turning a program on or off from a light that wasn't leading the group did the opposite of what you asked. • The Nodes tab said "No Nodes Found" while it was still connecting, and pulling to refresh there did nothing. • Every light in the Nodes list could show the same name after a refresh. • Firmware updates over WiFi failed to start on busy groups. If you share anonymous usage data, the app now reports for every light in your group rather than only the one it's connected to. Each light's own sharing setting is always honored.
