Black Queen: Rummy Card Game

Lay down sets. Empty your hand first. And whatever you do, don't get caught holding the Queen of Spades. Black Queen is the rummy-style card game families have played around the kitchen table, now on your phone and iPad. The Black Queen is worth 100 points: lay her down in a set of queens and those points are yours; get stuck holding her when the round ends, and they come off your score. Play three AI opponents with real personalities, or deal in friends and family online, from across the room or across the country. On iPad the whole table sits around the felt: every seat, every set, in view at once. HOW IT PLAYS Lay down sets of three or more cards of the same rank. 2s are wild. Jokers are worth 50 and make sets of their own. Grab the discard pile when it helps you, and race to go out. Cards left in your hand count against you, so a score can go below zero. First to 1,000 points wins (2,000 in Teams). A short tutorial walks you through your first hand. MEET THE TABLE Avanell counts every card and pounces the second the odds turn her way. George sits on his cards forever, then drops a monster set out of nowhere. Cousin Janice plays pure chaos and still somehow wins. They talk through every hand and complain about their cards even as they win. PLAY WITH YOUR PEOPLE Quick Match, or set up a custom table for up to 10 players, singles or teams. Play live games, or "over days" games you can play one turn at a time, perfect for grandparents and grandkids in different towns. Invite by email, username, text, contacts, or Game Center. Teams can turn on the Savage Rule for a card swap between partners. A NEW HAND EVERY DAY The Daily Hand gives everyone the same deal at midnight, with global and friends leaderboards and a streak counter. Achievements, stats, quests, and XP sync across your devices, and you can play in your browser at play.blackqueen.app. Free to play with ads. A one-time purchase removes ads forever. Made by Peace Harbor Studios, a small studio in Sandpoint, Idaho, in honor of George and Avanell's 70 years at the card table. There's no friends or family in a game of cards.
