What’s new
Version 5.9.4 · Updated October 29, 2026
NEW IN 5.9.1 • Your book finishes in the background. Close the app while your book is being made and it keeps building (iOS 26). We can let you know when it's ready. • Review our picks right away. A book that's still being made now opens on Photos, grouped by day with the date and place. Swap any photo while the rest comes together. • Choose your cover when your book is done. Pick from our favorite, your best photos, and a row of new cover designs, including the Baby Issue: a magazine-style cover for baby's first year. ALSO • Three simple steps across the top: Photos, Book, Order. • Get a notification when your order ships. • Books no longer get stuck waiting on slow iCloud photos. • Fixed a crash when removing a pet's name, plus other fixes.
