Charts, effects and bigger widgets Seven new chart types • Pie, donut, scatter and heatmap join the bar, line and area charts. • Stacked, grouped and range bars for comparing two sets of numbers side by side. • Add a second series to any of them, or leave it off and the chart adapts. Group transforms • Move, rotate and fade a whole group as one object, not just a folder in the Layers panel. • Rotation pivots around the middle of the group's contents, so it spins in place. • Ungrouping keeps everything exactly where you left it. New layer effects • Per-corner rounding. Round each corner independently, or link them back to one value. • Emboss, for a letterpress look on text and symbols. • 3D rotation, to tilt any layer on its X and Y axis. Bigger widgets, better on iPad • Extra Large widgets on iPad, twice the width of a Large. • Corrected widget and Lock Screen sizes across every iPad, so the editor now matches what actually lands on your Home Screen. See-through widgets, on by default • Transparent backgrounds are now switched on for new designs, so widgets blend into your wallpaper straight away. Fixes and polish • Stickers you publish to the community keep their transparency instead of arriving on a black rectangle. • Charts pick a sensible second colour instead of defaulting to black. • Numeric fields now have press-and-hold to step through values quickly, and a Done button to dismiss the keyboard. • The back button in the editor is more reliable, and your work still saves automatically. • Faster saving, with less work happening while you leave the editor.
