About Biid: Snap a photo, get bids

The work is hard enough. Finding a pro shouldn’t be. Biid is where you post a home project and local pros bid on it. No phone tag. No waiting a week for a number. You see real prices from real people, and you choose. How it works: Snap a photo of what needs doing and answer a few quick questions. That’s the whole listing. Bids come to you. Each one names a price, what’s included, and how long the job will take. Meet the pros. Every bid is a person, with their photo, their reviews, and the work they’ve done. Hire your pro. Pick a start date and confirm. The rest is on the calendar. What you won’t do: Take an afternoon off just to get a number. Explain the same job five times. Wonder whether the price is fair. Bids land side by side, so the comparing is already done. For contractors: See the job before you bid. Photos, scope, and dates are all up front. Bid on what fits, from wherever you are. Win work on your price and your reviews, not your ad budget. Where: Jacksonville, Florida first. More cities soon.

What’s new

Version 1.0.4 · Updated October 15, 2026

Polish and fixes from our first few days on the App Store. Thank you to everyone who has posted a project or placed a bid. - Reviews: once both of you have left one, yours and theirs appear together the moment the second review is in. - Dates now reach six months out when you post a project, propose new dates, or set your availability as a contractor. - Double-tap any message to react to it in the messenger. - Contractor portfolios hold up to 15 photos. - Reminders about a project show which project they are about, with a link straight to it. - A project that cannot be opened now says so, with a way back, instead of an empty screen. - Fixed a launch that could get stuck behind the splash screen, or sit blank after the phone was locked. - The keyboard no longer lingers between steps of contractor sign-up, or bounces when you attach something to a message. - Fixed the message composer not resizing correctly - Switching between your homeowner and contractor sides is quicker. - Clearer, more consistent text and icons throughout. Something not right? Settings > Contact support, or [email protected].
