What’s new

Version 1.0.4 · Updated August 12, 2026

Version 1.0.4 brings more accurate readings, improved ad consent flows, and general stability improvements. • More realistic readings: the meter now uses RMS metering by default, giving truer low-level values in quiet environments instead of an inflated floor. • Peaks mode: prefer peak-weighted readings? Switch to Peaks mode in Settings. • Leq fix: silence no longer inflates the session average — Leq values are now accurate throughout. • EU/UK ad consent: users in Europe now see a proper consent prompt (UMP) on first launch. • Clearer iOS ATT prompt: the App Tracking Transparency pre-prompt now explains what is used and why. • Ads reliability: banners reload correctly; Premium removes all ads immediately and permanently. • Bug fixes and stability improvements. Thank you for using Noise Meter — Shusher!
