Latch : Focus & App Blocker

Latch is a quiet iOS focus app and app blocker that shields distracting apps during focus sessions you start yourself. No subscription, no streaks, no gamification — just the simple act of closing a door on the attention economy. One price, forever Most screen time and app blocker apps charge $70 to $100 every year. Latch is a one-time purchase. Pay once and every future update is included — no upsell, no upgrade fee, ever. Quiet by design • No streaks to break • No gems to chase • No leaderboards or badges • No coach messages or push reminders • No email list, no account A tool you use, then close. Made for adults managing their own attention Latch uses Apple's official Screen Time framework with individual authorization. It is not a parental control app. It is built for the designer, developer, writer, or knowledge worker who is tired of losing 40 minutes to doomscrolling before lunch. What's in the box • Single-tap focus sessions — 15, 25, 45, 60 minutes, or custom up to 8 hours • Recurring schedules — block the same apps at the same times every weekday • Locked Mode — commit to a session you cannot cancel halfway • Home Screen widgets (small and medium) — start focus without opening the app • Control Center toggle — one tap from anywhere • Dynamic Island Live Activity — your timer follows you between apps • iOS Focus Filter integration — when your Work Focus turns on, Latch can auto-start a session • Anonymous focus history — see your week in a simple chart, no analytics lockup Private by design Nothing ever leaves your device. There is no account, no email, no login, no cloud sync. Latch has no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no telemetry — no third-party code that phones home. Your app selections, schedules, and focus history stay on your iPhone, reflected in the "Data Not Collected" privacy label on this page. Supported on iPhone and iPad running iOS 18 or later. Latch is built by a single independent developer. Every support email is read by a human. If something breaks, we fix it.
