About Prime Minister UK Politics Sim

You're the new UK Prime Minister. Your inbox is full of crises. Your Whip is worried. PMQs is coming up. The front pages are brutal. Try not to get sacked. Prime Minister UK Politics Simulator is an offline political strategy game built on a real 650-seat UK Parliament and a national model of 152 live indicators. Eight parties, three difficulty tiers, and every choice you make is logged, weighted and remembered — by the economy, the press, your party and the country. EVERY DECISION HAS CONSEQUENCES Reply to a journalist and you've moved approval, party loyalty, integrity and a faction's hostility — usually all four. Promise tax cuts you can't deliver and the deficit comes for you. No filler — every email, interview and despatch-box answer moves the machine. THE COUNTRY ACTUALLY RESPONDS Underneath the politics runs a deep simulation of the nation — 152 indicators across 11 domains, from GDP growth, inflation and the bond rating to NHS waiting lists, homes built, small-boat arrivals, child poverty and CO2 emissions. They aren't decoration. Fund the NHS and waiting lists fall; back housebuilding and homes get affordable; let a problem fester and it grows. Thirty-three carry live crisis thresholds that force decisions onto your desk. A TREASURY THAT BITES Set budgets across the real fiscal levers. Push tax too far and the Laffer curve pushes back. Read OBR forecasts and manage inflation across fiscal stance, tax, the Bank of England and energy. Lose the markets and the bond rating, deficit and debt come for you. ELECTION NIGHT, ON A REAL MAP OF BRITAIN Every general election plays out seat by seat across all 650 constituencies, on a live hex map of the UK. Watch the count roll in at your own pace, with battlegrounds and famous seats called as they declare, pundits running the night, and the majority line creeping closer. Pass electoral reform and the country votes again under proportional representation. A WORLD THAT MOVES WITHOUT YOU Beyond Westminster, the world turns. Real global conflicts flare, escalate and drag on — pushing oil prices, driving inflation, and landing hard choices on your desk. Arm a side and you might lose the Commons vote. Abandon an ally and Britain's word counts for less next time. Wreck relations between two rival powers and you can start a war you're not even in. WHEN NOBODY WINS A hung parliament isn't game over. As the sitting PM you get first go at forming a government — weigh coalition offers from one party or several, reconcile the bill-maths across your bloc, and rebuild your Cabinet from partner MPs when your ministers lose their seats. Or govern as a minority and gamble on every vote. MANIFESTO PLEDGES AS A BINDING CONTRACT Pick your pledges in office. Every bill, budget and project moves them between delivered, in progress and broken. Break them and the opposition cites them at PMQs and the columnists weaponise them. You deliver, defend or pay. WHEN THE BACK BENCHES TURN Leadership challenges and no-confidence motions fire when sleaze, broken pledges, low approval or a thin majority push your own MPs to reach for the dagger. A scandal-hit minister can lose their seat and force a by-election that reshapes your majority overnight. THE GOVERNMENT YOU RUN Lead eight real parties, each with distinct factions, parliamentary maths and ideological pressure. Appoint a full Cabinet from your real roster of MPs, each with personalities, expertise, scandals and hidden ambitions who'll bargain over the jobs you offer them. Pass bills through a hostile Commons, run the Whip's Office, and field calls from Washington, Brussels, Beijing, Moscow and beyond. Put the great questions to the country in a referendum — Europe, the union, the monarchy — and govern through the aftermath. OFFLINE-FIRST. NO TIMERS. NO ADS. Built and updated by a solo developer who reads the reviews — a lot of the game came straight from players. Free to play your first 8 in-game weeks. Yours forever for one purchase.

What’s new

Version 2.6 · Updated October 12, 2026

What's new in 2.6 Tax and the public finances • The main taxes now raise and cost what HMRC's published estimates say. Budget sliders and tax bills use the same figures, so a tax costs the same whichever route you take. • The deficit is shown before debt interest, with the interest bill and total borrowing beside it, and the average rate on the debt next to the 10-year gilt yield. • Gilt yields top out at 15%. If they sit there for six months, the markets stop buying and you face a debt crisis: call in the IMF, pass an Emergency Budget, restructure the debt or hold your nerve. • Bills whose cost lands through the wider economy, such as Universal Basic Income, now show that cost before you vote, and the Treasury warns you before a bill would break a fiscal limit. • Costs now land the way the decision describes: a one-off is paid once, and a programme over set years runs for those years and then stops. Parliament • Bills now go through every Commons stage before you can call the division, about a month each. Calling votes early to pass several bills in a week is no longer possible. • The Parliament screen explains what moves your MPs, and what brings them back: delivered pledges, Budget surpluses and PMQs wins. • Offering concessions in a leadership ballot is no longer an almost-certain escape, so watch your bench. Your cabinet • Request a meeting with a minister about their department. What you learn depends on their expertise and competence. • Ministers' briefs on bills now read as bullet points, from what the bill does to the vote prediction. • Cabinet candidates show their integrity, MP cards show the region of the seat each MP holds, and tapping an ambitious backbencher in the Chief Whip's report opens their profile. Diplomacy • Allies and rivals react more strongly to state visits, defence pacts, aid packages and visa deals. • Calls from world leaders show whether they come by phone or by video. Fixes and clearer screens, many from player reports • The home screen shows debt and the credit rating together, plus your party's latest poll share. • Bills and laws are grouped by government department, including a new Law & Order group. • Election results now shows the election that brought you to power. • The Budget reaction email responds to each change you make. • The Approval screen shows where you stand with each media outlet. • Green always means good for you and red bad for you, whichever way a number moves. • Country statistics show their units, and some have clearer homes: inequality and the North–South wage gap under Workers, poverty under Wellbeing, life expectancy under Demographics. • The Military Pact is now the Defence & Security Pact. • Cancelling a project now stops its spending and charges a one-off cancellation cost. Cancelling or mothballing HS2 changes the project itself, and a mothballed project can be resumed. • Foreign aid choices show their real cost. • Three crises that could not be resolved now can be. • Crisis scenarios now start with the deficit they describe. • Weather events follow the seasons. • The Budget screen now says what the statutory spending cap really does, and you can repeal the cap from Laws in force. • The High Speed Rail bill now costs what it says: about £3bn a year for 12 years. It was charging the full £38bn every year.
