MakerNote

Know exactly how much profit you're making on every piece you create. MakerNote is a simple, powerful cost management app for handmade artists and crafters. Manage material costs, product costs, and profit — all from your phone. 【What you can do with MakerNote】 ▷ Material Management Register materials with name, unit price, stock quantity, photos, and tags. Search instantly by name, color, or material type. Add photos from your library or take them with your camera on the spot. ▷ Automatic Cost Calculation Select the materials used when registering a product — cost is calculated automatically. When a material's price changes, every linked product's cost updates in real time. Supports labor cost input (hourly rate × production time). ▷ Sales Tracking & Profit Management Enter your selling price and see profit instantly. Tap "Sold!" on a product to record a sale with last time's price and platform already filled in. Each product's detail view shows sales history (count, total profit, last sold date) plus suggested prices at 30% and 50% profit margins. ▷ Duplicate Products Register color or size variations by duplicating a product along with its materials. ▷ Shopping List Materials whose stock has dropped to zero or below are listed automatically — your ready-made restocking list. ▷ CSV / ZIP / PDF Export & Import (Free) Export sales as CSV. Back up materials, products, sales, and photos as a ZIP and restore from the same file. Export material lists and product costs as PDF. ▷ Profit Dashboard Visualize monthly and annual profit trends as bar charts. See your top 5 products by profit, plus a breakdown of sales by platform (Etsy, minne, Creema, and more). ▷ Finished Inventory Management Track how many finished pieces you have on hand. Recording a sale automatically decrements the stock by one. 【Who this is for】 · Etsy or Amazon Handmade sellers who want to know their true profit per item · Crafters currently managing costs in a spreadsheet who want something simpler · Artists who price by feel and aren't sure if they're actually making money · Makers who want clean records of material costs for tax purposes 【Your data stays with you】 All data is stored on your iPhone/iPad only.
