Flip cards show the character, its romaji, native audio, and one or two beginner-friendly example words that begin with it, so あ arrives with あめ "rain" and ア with アイス "ice cream". Swipe left or right to move through the deck like a physical stack of flashcards. In Swipe Quiz the direction is unmistakable. Large sticky rails sit on both sides of the card, and the card itself tints red or green as you drag. No more "wait, which way meant correct?"
