About TubeLingo: Learn from Videos

Learn any language from the videos, songs and podcasts you already love. TubeLingo turns real YouTube content into interactive lessons. Import any video, get dual subtitles, tap a word to translate it, then practice with dictation and AI-scored shadowing until you can say it like a native. Start with Korean or English today, with more languages on the way. WHY VIDEOS? Textbooks teach you the language people write. Videos teach you the language people actually speak. K-pop lyrics, dramas, interviews, vlogs, podcasts: when you learn from content you enjoy, you remember it. IMPORT ANY YOUTUBE VIDEO Paste a link and TubeLingo builds a lesson around it: synced subtitles, translations and a difficulty rating from A1 to C1. Or pick from curated playlists like Daily Conversation, Food & Cooking, K-pop Lyrics and Slow Korean Podcast. TAP TO UNDERSTAND Tap any word in a subtitle to see its meaning, pronunciation and an example sentence. Get a plain-language explanation of the grammar behind any line, or ask the AI a follow-up question. SHADOWING WITH AI FEEDBACK Listen, repeat, and get an instant pronunciation score for every sentence. Loop a line, slow it down, and try again until it sounds right. DICTATION EXERCISES Rebuild each sentence word by word to train your ear for how natives really speak. Track your accuracy and climb the leaderboard. AI TUTOR Practice speaking with a live AI tutor on any topic, or write your own role-play scene and act it out. Fill-in-the-blank drills come with spoken explanations. A COURSE THAT MEETS YOUR LEVEL 140 lessons along a level-based path. Pick your level and start there; every chapter builds on the last. SAVE, REVIEW, REMEMBER Bookmark words, expressions and sentences with one tap. Review them as flashcards and keep your streak alive with daily goals. ALSO INCLUDED - A library of 40 books, read aloud one line at a time - Daily news in your target language - Streaks, XP and daily goals to keep you going Whether you're learning Korean for K-dramas and K-pop, or sharpening your English for work and travel, TubeLingo helps you understand what you hear and say it with confidence. What’s new

Version 2.0.3 · Updated September 24, 2026

What's new in 2.0.3 • Sentence breakdown — press and hold a subtitle line to pick up to 10 sentences and break them down at once. Each breakdown now comes with audio, a word list, flashcards, "Ask AI," and a memorized mark. • 30-day Japanese listening course — a new daily listening plan inside the app. • "How do I say…?" — type a sentence in your own language and get it in the language you're learning, along with its key words. • Add saved items by hand — a + button on the Saved tab lets you add a word or sentence directly. • Better decks — build a deck from your saved words, get real AI word suggestions, and start from ready-made topic decks on the Practice tab. • Pattern notes now show what each word means right under its pronunciation. • Challenge words and sentences can be added to a deck. Fixes • The subtitle list no longer bounces or snaps back while you scroll. • Long deck titles no longer hide the settings button. • Adding a video waits longer and tells you when it's still processing.
