About Black Ink Magazine

Black Ink Magazine is the official publication of the Black Student Movement at UNC Chapel Hill, giving Black students on campus a space to write, photograph, and speak on their own terms. Since 1969, Black Ink has carried news, opinion, poetry, and culture writing from Carolina's Black community, now available to read from your phone. Browse by section, search for something specific, or look up a writer to read everything they've published. Save articles to read later. Your saved list stays on your phone and works offline, so you can catch up whenever you get a chance. Turn on notifications if you want to know as soon as something new goes up. The app doesn't ask for an account, doesn't show ads, and doesn't track you. This app is built and maintained by Climate 2.0 at Carolina on behalf of Black Ink Magazine.
