About DeathMap
DeathMap shows fatal motor vehicle crashes near you, drawn from over 20 years of federal highway safety data. Browse a map of 784,000+ fatal crashes reported to the NHTSA Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) from 2001 through 2023. Filter by year range or time of day. Tap any pin to see the date, fatality count, and conditions like drunk driving, nighttime, weather, and speeding. No account required. No tracking. Your location is used only to center the map and is never stored or shared.
