Dastan: Daily Art & Poetry

Dastan is a quiet companion for the curious — a pocket salon where painting, literature, and philosophy share a single wall. Each day opens with a canvas chosen for you: one painting, one page from a novel, one verse from a poet. A slow feed for the eye and the ear, not a scroll that fights for your attention. THE GALLERY: Five centuries of paintings, hung in one endless wing. Tap to rehang the room — the curator's prerogative — and a fresh sample is drawn from the collection. Every plate opens into a full-screen lightbox with the painter, year, and movement set in proper typographic care. THE ARTISTS: The hands behind the work. A masonry of portraits with dates, origins, and the movements they helped shape — from the Renaissance to the Post-Impressionists. THE THINKERS: Twenty-five centuries of philosophers, charted as a stream across time. See the rise and fall of every tradition — Classical Greek, Hellenistic, Scholastic, Rationalism, Existentialism, and more — then dive into individual thinkers, their quotes, and the schools they belonged to.
