About Workout Pledge
HOW IT WORKS Choose your weekly target, from 1 to 7 days Set your penalty per missed day ($10 to $100) Start today or next Monday; a mid-week start only counts the days left Each pledged day needs 30 minutes of recorded activity. Multiple workouts in a day all add up Every Sunday night your week settles automatically Winners split the penalty pool as points; redeem them for gift cards or donate them to charity MOTIVATION THAT ACTUALLY WORKS Streaks and reminders are easy to ignore. Losing $20 on a Tuesday is not. Workout Pledge uses the one thing that reliably gets people off the couch: not wanting to lose money they already have. And because the penalties go to the people who did the work, showing up pays. BETTER WITH FRIENDS Add friends, see their week at a glance, and poke them when they're slacking. Cheer when they succeed. Accountability from your pals (if you want it). FAIR AND VERIFIED Workouts are read from Apple Health and must come from a smart device or tracking app. Step counts alone and manually logged workouts don't count, so everyone plays by the same rules. If something looks wrong, you get a three-day dispute window before any charge, reviewed by a person. LIFE HAPPENS Traveling or sick? Pause your pledge and pick it back up when you're ready. Change your days or your penalty for the next week anytime. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS We read workout summaries to verify your goal and nothing else. Your health data is never shared or sold. Works with Apple Watch, Oura Ring, Garmin, Fitbit, Strava, Peloton, Nike Run Club, and anything else that syncs to Apple Health. Free to download, free to use. You only ever pay when you skip a day you pledged.
