Mappu: AI Audio Guide & Tours

Mappu is an AI trip planner and walking guide: plan your trip on a map, then walk it with an audio guide for almost any place. More than 400 guides are free to play in the app or on mappu.ai, and you don't need an account to start listening. ASK MAPPU Mappu is with you on the map, in your guides and on your trip. Tell it where you're going and what you enjoy, and it sketches a free day-by-day draft on the map; you can start without an account. Ask it to change your trip: it proposes the change, and you apply it or undo it. Ask what's near you, whether a day works, with walking times, listed opening hours, and sunset, or for a walk that fits the time you have. When a step uses credits, Mappu shows the price before you confirm. PLAN YOUR TRIP ON A MAP When the draft feels right, generate a full itinerary of up to 21 days. Every stop sits on the map, and the plan comes with a packing list and advice on budget, transport, and where to stay. Move, add, or remove stops by hand as often as you like. ALREADY HAVE A PLAN? Import the itinerary you already have, from a PDF, a document, or pasted notes, and Mappu turns it into a plan you can edit. Mappu also works with ChatGPT and Claude: with the Mappu connector, a plan you make there opens in Mappu. Export any itinerary as a PDF and share it with the people you travel with. WALK MODE Start a walk, put your phone in your pocket, and go. Walk Mode follows your location and tells you about the places around you as you move, even with the screen locked. Ask about what you see by text, by voice, or with a photo. A Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island shows your next stop and lets you pause without unlocking, and widgets, Control Center, and Shortcuts take you back to your walk and your guides. 400+ FREE AUDIO GUIDES Published guides cover more than 400 landmarks and neighborhoods, from the Colosseum and the Sagrada Família to the Alhambra, the Acropolis, and Hagia Sophia. Play them for free in the app or on mappu.ai, with no account needed to start listening. AN AUDIO GUIDE FOR ALMOST ANY PLACE Tap any other place on the map to hear what it has to tell: history, architecture, art, and local context, with the sources cited. A standard guide tells the essential story; a personalized guide shapes it around your interests and travel style. Ask follow-up questions whenever you want more detail. The map also shows neighborhood favorites, small museums, and viewpoints next to the famous sights. The app, its guides, and your itineraries come in English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese. CREDITS WITHOUT A SUBSCRIPTION Mappu is free to download. Exploring the map, playing the published guides, chatting with Mappu (its day-by-day drafts included), editing plans by hand, importing a plan, and exporting a PDF are free, and as a guest your first standard guide is free too. Generating a full itinerary, creating a guide, AI rewrites, and two-hour Walk Mode sessions use credits. Credits come in one-time packs, never expire, and need no subscription. Mappu needs an internet connection. Export your itinerary as a PDF to keep it with you.
