Your Apple Watch counts every wave, watches your position in the lineup and knows when the light is going. Your iPhone keeps the surf log, the forecast and 9,200+ spots. Only them, nobody else — and paddling counts as a sign of life, so a long lull won't set it off. HELD UNDER On watches with a depth sensor, BreakFinder times every hold-down and sets it against the breath hold you train with BreakFinder Breath — 14 seconds reads very differently next to "you hold 40".
