Unseen X

Created by Ketan Sharma Unseen X — Experience the Unseen. Step into the world of diverse abilities with Unseen X, an immersive educational simulation designed to build empathy and understanding through technology. Developed by Ketan Sharma, this app uses real-time visual and audio filters to simulate how people with various disabilities interact with the digital and physical world. Whether you are a developer, designer, student, or simply curious, Unseen X provides a powerful perspective on why accessible design is not just a feature—it’s a necessity. COLOR BLINDNESS SIMULATION Experience the world through the lens of color vision deficiency (CVD), affecting approximately 8% of people. • Protanopia: Red color blindness simulation. • Deuteranopia: Green color blindness simulation. • Tritanopia: Blue color blindness simulation. • Achromatopsia: Complete color blindness (monochrome). See how traffic lights, complex UI elements, and data graphics appear to those with CVD. HEARING LOSS SIMULATION Understand the daily challenges and communication barriers faced by over 1.5 billion people. • Adjustable Levels: Toggle from mild to severe hearing loss. • Audio Filtering: Real-time frequency dampening to simulate muffled speech. • Interactive Scenarios: Experience how alerts and alarms sound in different environments. • Haptic Feedback: Feel the tactile alerts that bridge the gap for those with hearing impairment. LIMITED MOBILITY SIMULATION Feel the complexity of motor control challenges and precise interaction. • Tremor Simulation: Experience the difficulty of steady interaction. • Interactive Tasks: Test your skills with tapping, dragging, and precise icon selection. • Challenge Feedback: Gain real-time insight into why large touch targets and adaptive UIs are critical. VISION IMPAIRMENT SIMULATION Explore common vision conditions that change how we perceive our environment. • Nearsightedness & Farsightedness: Understand focus-related challenges. • Astigmatism: Experience distorted or blurred vision simulations. • Age-Related Changes: See how vision evolves over time. APP FEATURES • Native Performance: Built entirely with SwiftUI for a smooth, responsive experience. • Privacy First: No account required, no data collection, and no tracking. • Immersive Tech: Uses real-time visual filters, audio processing, and advanced haptics. • Educational Impact: Perfect for accessibility audits, design inspiration, and classroom learning.
