About Zucchini Chat

Zucchini — your agents, the intuitive way. Have a task? Start a chat. A contract reviewed, a report drafted, research pulled together, a trip planned, files organized — your agent gets to work on your own computer or server while you carry on with your day. Start on your Mac, follow up from your iPhone. Run agents in parallel chats. Ask for a daily report to be prepared every night while you sleep — and read it over breakfast. Built for everyone: Zucchini guides you from download to your first running agent in five minutes. Add a machine — yours, or one shared with you — pick a workspace, start chatting. End-to-end encrypted. Works with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, and more.

What’s new

Version 3.3.3 · Updated September 24, 2026

- Agents stay open between messages. Claude Code and Codex no longer exit after answering, so what they had open, like a browser, is still there next time. A dot on the chat's avatar shows the agent is open; Kill in the chat header or the chat's context menu ends it. Idle agents close after a while; pinned chats keep theirs longer. - Add Machine supports Windows. On Mac, "This computer" adds the Mac you're on. - A message sent while Claude Code or Codex is working joins the current task. Stop interrupts the task and keeps the agent open. - Tap the "working" indicator to see the agent's background tasks and queued messages. The indicator shows how many are running. - Messages show their time, and an elapsed timer runs next to Thinking/Waiting. - Long chats open on their newest 300 messages; older ones load as you scroll up, or all at once with the ↑ button. - Chats with a scheduled message show a clock, and search has a new "Scheduled" filter. Agents can now list and cancel their chat's scheduled messages, not only create them. - HTML attachments open as working web pages: in the app on iPhone and iPad, in your default browser on Mac. On Mac, opening an attachment other than an image saves it to Downloads first. - Codex: /compact and the context gauge work. - Mac: all chat toolbar actions show on macOS 27, and the context ring keeps its colors. - Nested lists in messages keep their indent. - Settings has a third-party licenses screen.
