Fridge - Nomads Local Guide

Land in a city. Open Fridge. Know where to go. Fridge is the place discovery app built for people who move. Whether you're a digital nomad touching down for a month, a remote worker rotating cities, or a slow traveler who wants to hit the ground running — Fridge gives you a trusted shortlist without the research spiral. The secret is freshness. Every place in Fridge carries a live score that rises when people confirm it's still great and fades when the signal gets old. No permanent five-star reputations. Just honest answers to the only question that actually matters: is this place still worth it right now? —— YOUR DAY, ALREADY PLANNED Fridge doesn't just drop you on a map. It builds a full day around you — breakfast spot, a cafe to work from, lunch, and dinner — surfaced in three modes: • Chilled — reliable picks close by • Defrost — a wider, more exploratory sweep • Serendipity — shake to reveal something unexpected One open, one plan. No cross-referencing five apps. —— CITY MAGNETS The cities you've actually lived in deserve more than a bookmark folder. City Magnets show everywhere you've built real history — the places you've saved, confirmed, and returned to. Your city memory travels with you, so every return feels like coming back to something, not starting over. —— SHARE A RECOMMENDATION THAT ACTUALLY MEANS SOMETHING Sending a place name in a chat is nearly useless. Fridge lets you share a real recommendation — a public page that carries the context, the freshness state, and why the place is worth the trip. The person on the other end gets a genuine tip, not just a Google Maps pin to figure out on their own. —— NOMADS HELP NOMADS Fridge runs on community signal. When you confirm a place is still great, you're not just updating a score — you're helping the next person who lands there cold. Every check-in, report, and helpful vote keeps the map alive for whoever arrives next. That's the whole deal. —— WHAT'S IN FRIDGE • Daily plan for breakfast, cafe, lunch, and dinner • Live freshness scores — no stale ratings hiding in plain sight • City Magnets to carry your city history across every move • Shareable place pages that travel outside the app • The Crisper — a live feed of what's changing around you • Import your saved lists and turn them into a portable city memory • Open to Chitchat — optional light social matching at shared spots Currently supported in 28 countries: Spain, Portugal, Thailand, Indonesia, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Armenia, Vietnam, Colombia, Estonia, Croatia, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Czechia, Romania, Cyprus, France, and Italy.
