About PocketHook
Your iPhone, wired to anything you build. PocketHook is the native chat that connects your Apple devices to your own HTTPS server — your webhook, your n8n workflow, your Home Assistant, your own script. You type, your server answers, and iOS Shortcuts run on cue. No account. No tracking. No middleman between you and your own data. Send a message, watch your server reply with Markdown, images, links, even a Shortcut to trigger automatically. Chain steps. Speak instead of typing. Schedule background checks that poke your server and notify you when something changes. It all happens on your infrastructure, through your credentials, stored only in the Apple Keychain. PocketHook is a client. It ships with no backend of its own — you bring the server, and your data stays where it belongs. Features: - Connect to any HTTPS server you control - Trigger iOS Shortcuts and Siri from server responses, with multi-step chains - Six built-in App Intents for Siri and user-built Shortcuts: send a message and wait for reply, silent send without chat history, add a local message, and three helpers to extract fields (msg, data, shortcut name) from server responses - Rich chat: Markdown, HTML, images, interactive buttons - Voice dictation in 39 languages via the iOS Speech framework - Background polling with notifications - Offline queue with automatic retry - Optional compatibility mode for servers using a chat-style JSON format - Zero tracking, zero third-party SDKs - Credentials stored in Apple Keychain only Built for developers, tinkerers, automators, and anyone who wants their iPhone to talk to the things they actually run. If you can deploy an HTTPS endpoint, PocketHook plugs straight into it. More info: https://pockethook.app
What’s new
Version 1.4 · Updated September 18, 2026
PocketHook 1.4 lets you save your servers and switch between them without entering credentials again. • Multiple servers with Pro: keep work, personal use and testing separate, each with its own chat, drafts, links and settings. • QR setup: scan an Agent Server invitation or import its image to configure a server. Manual setup remains available. • Per-server settings: manage connection, timeouts, health checks, pending jobs and Personal UI in each server's settings. • Give each server a name and an optional emoji to recognize it at a glance. • Choose a destination in the share sheet and Shortcuts actions. Existing Shortcuts keep their original server. • Tap the UI tab again to reload the current page. • Photos is now free, including local photo-library links. • Paste images into the chat using Paste or the keyboard's image suggestion. • Fixed dictation restoring text to the composer after sending. • Clearer Pro status and purchase options in Settings. • Customize each chat with a wallpaper, outgoing/reply bubble colors and bubble opacity. Apply one wallpaper to all your servers if you like. • Switch between top and sidebar navigation with Liquid Glass on Mac and wide iPad windows. • Readable reply-option cards without horizontal scrolling. • Checks pending jobs for enabled servers while you use the app, even when another chat is open. One server, including QR setup, remains free. Multiple servers are included in the Pro trial, the existing Pro purchase and legacy paid-app entitlements. One purchase covers every profile. Choose which servers to sync with iCloud and which to keep on this device. On each device, select profiles from Available in iCloud. Names, emojis, settings, wallpapers, bubble colors/opacity, delivered messages and links sync; the active server and drafts remain device-specific. Credentials arrive through iCloud Keychain, which must be enabled on both devices. The original conversation retains its existing sync.
