BABAPionier is an AI assistant for everyday life and work in Switzerland. The language model runs directly on your iPhone or iPad: after a one-time download (about 2.3 GB) the AI also works offline, and no cloud AI service receives your chats. Interface: German, English, Italian, Russian and Serbian (Latin script). AI CHAT GROUNDED IN SWISS LAW • For legal questions, the AI uses a built-in collection: 158 entries with the core content of articles from 21 Swiss acts and ordinances (including the Code of Obligations, Civil Code, Data Protection Act and Employment Act), checked against the official text on fedlex.admin.ch (as of 2026). • The AI is instructed to rely only on these articles and those retrieved via online research, and not to cite any other article numbers. If an answer still cites others, the app shows a warning. ONLINE RESEARCH (OPTIONAL) If enabled, chat, services and the voice assistant use current public sources, with a link below the answer: • 25 federal acts and ordinances in force (fedlex.admin.ch) • Company check in the FSO's UID register • Official FOCBS daily exchange rates with conversion (customs and VAT rate; bank rates differ) • Cantonal public holidays (OpenHolidays, not official) • Online encyclopedia; in the voice assistant also weather and local time 27 TEMPLATES Employment contract, lease agreement, notice of termination, payment reminder, employment reference, NDA, power of attorney, advance directive, draft will, invoice, quote, CV; new: year-end checklist, year-end customer letter and donation receipt. Fill in the form, let the app create the document, export as DOCX or PDF. Invoices and quotes: VAT recalculation and QR reference check with a warning; the app replaces invalid IBANs with a placeholder. Only the necessary search details are sent (the sources also see your IP address), never your chat history or documents; if a question contains an AHV number, IBAN or similar, no search term goes to the online encyclopedia. • Voice input and transcription use Apple speech recognition; depending on language and device, Apple may process the recording on its servers. GOOD TO KNOW • BABAPionier is not a substitute for legal advice. AI answers and documents can contain errors. Have important contracts reviewed by a professional. • A holographic will must be written entirely by hand, dated and signed (Art. 505 Swiss Civil Code); the template provides a draft. • AI features need at least 6 GB of memory (RAM); on devices with less, the app points this out before purchase, and the tools without AI remain usable. • Longer answers and documents can take a few minutes on the device, longer under sustained load. SUBSCRIPTION AND PASSES A subscription (monthly or yearly) or a pass is required. The app shows price and term before purchase; payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Passes for 24 hours or 10 days do not renew automatically; each pass can be bought once per Apple Account.
