Lightcraft Spark

The companion app for Lightcraft Spark. Spark turns your iPhone into a virtual production camera. Track the camera, composite live action against a 3D background in real time, and capture every take on set, then sync it straight to your Spark story. Built by Lightcraft Technology, the team behind Jetset (a 2025 NAB Technology Innovation Award winner) and the Emmy-winning Previzion, used in countless major productions across film and television. Spark brings professional virtual production to the device already in your pocket. WHAT YOU CAN DO Real-time camera tracking. Move your iPhone and the virtual camera moves with it, matched to real camera specs and sensor formats. One-click live compositing. Shoot in AR mode or with a green or blue screen and watch your actor land inside the virtual scene as you roll, at 24p or 25p. Render on device. Capture full-quality Superdailies right on your phone during the shoot for an instant, complete preview. Capture and sync every take. Takes are sent automatically to your Spark Story Takes page and seamlessly connect to the right 3D scenes, script scenes, and production metadata, so the whole team stays current. Bring in your world. Work with Gaussian splat location scans, AI-generated environments, and USD assets imported from tools like Blender, Unreal Engine, and Maya. Connect to Spark Story. Pair the app with the Spark Story browser previs platform to plan shots, build your shot list, and then shoot them for real. WHO IT IS FOR Spark is for filmmakers at every level. High-end film and television teams use it to lock in their vision and align on shots before anyone steps on set. Independent creators use it to work at that same professional level without a studio's infrastructure or budget. It starts with seeing your story early. Spark helps a whole team build shared visual alignment from the first days of an idea, so everyone is making the same film from the very beginning. Spark is in active development, with new features arriving on a rolling basis. We build it alongside working production teams, and your feedback shapes what comes next. Questions or feedback?
