Waqti - Prayer Times

Waqti isn't just another prayer times app. It’s a mission to give Muslims the most reliable, beautifully designed, and scientifically precise tool to observe their Salah - wherever they are, with absolute peace of mind. Are my prayers safe? Many apps use generic, flat-earth math and secretly sell your location data. Waqti is different. We provide prayer times firmly grounded in authentic Islamic fatwas and cutting-edge astronomy, combined with a strict "Full Privacy Mode" that guarantees your data never leaves your device. WHY WAQTI IS BETTER THAN THE REST Absolute Privacy & Security Your trust is sacred. We know that some governments and agencies have purchased location data from Islamic apps. That is why Waqti features a Full Privacy Mode which completely disables all external internet connections. No tracking, no data selling, no analytics. 100% offline. Terrain-Aware Supreme Precision The earth isn't flat, and your prayer times shouldn't assume it is. Waqti utilizes local terrain and elevation data (Horizon Profiles) to calculate the actual moment the sun dips behind the mountains or rises in the valleys. This ensures hyper-accurate Shuruk and Maghrib times based on your physical surroundings. Authentic Islamic Methods We don’t offer incorrect formulas or artificial shortcuts just for convenience. Waqti strictly implements verified, scholarly methods (MWL, Diyanet, Umm al-Qura, and more). • Configure Asr using Standard or Hanafi (double shadow length) methods. • In-depth Zawal/Istiwa calculations (Mathematical Transit, Limb Clearance, Millimeter Growth). • Pinpoint the exact End of Ishaa (Islamic Midnight/Half Night, or the Last Third of the night for Qiyam). Clarity, Not Confusion Track critical times far beyond the 5 daily prayers to structure your day: • True Fajr (18° / 19.5°) • Duha and forbidden times at Zenith • Qiyam ul-Layl (Last third of the night) POWERFUL FEATURES Smart Adhan Alarms & Mute Periods Fully customize notifications for every prayer. Set custom offsets, add your own offline Adhan sounds, and schedule "Mute Periods" so the Adhan doesn't disturb your work or school. Advanced Qibla Compass Find the precise direction of the Kaaba with a highly responsive compass displaying True Heading, Magnetic Heading, and local magnetic declination. Seamless Fasting Tracking Perfect for Ramadan and Sunnah fasts. Dedicated Suhur timers, customized fasting offsets, and presets like the White Nights (13th-15th) or Monday/Thursday fasts.
