Ask what time it is or start a three-minute timer. LETTERS AND DOCUMENTS Ask Lumyeye to read a document. It photographs the text and reads it aloud. Then ask follow-up questions: “Who is it from?”, “Is there anything to pay?”, “What is the deadline?”, or “Summarize it.” GUIDED SCANNING AND DOCUMENT STORAGE Lumyeye helps you frame each page and warns you when there isn’t enough light. Scan one or more pages, create a PDF, file it in a folder, find it, and read it again later. You can also share it by email or text message. YOUR PHOTOS Ask Lumyeye to describe a photo on your iPhone. It can read visible text and answer questions about the image. FIND OBJECTS AND EXPLORE INDOORS “Where are my keys?” “Find my remote.” Lumyeye helps you locate an object. During indoor guidance, it names detected obstacles and gives spoken and audio cues to help you get around them and move closer to your target. Some distance cues depend on your iPhone’s capabilities. AROUND TOWN Ask where you are to hear your location. Find a nearby business or request directions to a destination; Lumyeye can then open a maps app for navigation. Depending on your area, you can also ask about nearby public transport and upcoming departures. VISION LIVE Ask the camera questions during a live vision session: “What can you see?”, “Can you see my bag?”, or “What’s in front of me?” Vision Live is available for up to 10 minutes per day. DISTANCE AND AUDIO CUES On a compatible iPhone, ask for the distance or turn on audio cues for feedback about what is nearby in front of you. EVERYDAY TASKS Call a contact, dictate a text message, check or add an appointment, and save a memo. Later, ask Lumyeye to find the information you saved. INFORMATION AND MUSIC Ask about the weather, news, opening hours, sports results, or nearby businesses. Lumyeye reads the answers aloud. You can also control your Spotify music by voice.
