Sola is a travel app built around the way women actually plan and travel alone. The guides are shaped by what matters when you are the one arriving somewhere new on your own: which neighbourhood to base yourself in, how you get in from the airport, what the money looks like, and what other women found when they stayed. WHERE TO STAY The part women use most. 1,548 places to stay, filtered the way you would actually filter: by country, city and neighbourhood, by type, by women-only rooms and by budget. 97 of them are women-only. Stay pages lead with where to book and carry "What women found", drawn from what women who stayed there wrote about the room, the staff and the walk home. Women on Sola can recommend a place or leave a note for the next woman. WHAT TO DO 1,984 things to do and 2,546 places to eat and drink, with the few not to miss in every city and neighbourhood picked out for you. WHO ELSE IS THERE Meet other women travelling to the same places. Search by name or username, browse profiles, say hello before you arrive or once you are there. Profiles can be verified, and every verification is reviewed by a person. BUILT BY LISTENING Sola started with a year of conversations with women travelling alone, asking what they looked up and what they could never find, before a line of code was written. Sola is independent and made to be genuinely useful.
