Macherre: Skincare Scanner

Know what's in your skincare and packaged food before you choose it. Start scanning without an account. Sign in only when you use features tied to your account. Macherre is a skincare, cosmetic, and packaged-food scanner for people who want clearer product decisions. Scan a barcode, take a photo of an ingredient label with OCR, or paste ingredients manually to see a plain-language breakdown. Check ingredient signals such as comedogenicity, irritancy, and matches against your skin profile. Add your skin type, goals, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, ingredients to avoid, and product standards so Macherre can flag what may deserve a closer look. For supported packaged foods, the same barcode scanner can show available ingredients, allergens, nutrition, processing details, and matches against your saved food preferences. When source information is incomplete, add a readable ingredient or nutrition label from the product. Use Macherre to: - Import supported product pages directly from Safari - Search skincare by category - Scan skincare and beauty product barcodes - Read cosmetic ingredient labels with OCR - Check comedogenicity and pore-clogging signals - Review potential irritancy and sensitivity flags - Build a skin profile for more personalized checks - Save favorites and review scan history - Compare products before you buy - Find product recommendations that better fit your profile - Submit missing products for review - Recognize supported packaged foods with the same barcode scanner - Review available food ingredients, allergens, nutrition, and processing details - Keep cosmetic and food results together in scan history and favorites Macherre is designed for cosmetic and food ingredient education and personal product discovery. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition and is not medical or dietary advice. Food information depends on available label and catalog evidence. Verify the product packaging and consult a qualified professional if you have allergies or medical concerns.
