IRL: Real Life Hangouts

IRL - real people, real places IRL is a social network for real people - the antidote to bots, catfishes, and endless scrolling. Every account is a real person verified in real life. No bot armies, no engagement-farm profiles, and no AI-generated strangers in your feed. Just the humans actually at the spots around you. HOW IT WORKS 1 Check in at a café, bar, park, or coworking spot near you. 2 Pick your vibe - chill, deep, energetic, creative, social, or focused. 3 Get matched with 2 to 5 nearby people who want the same thing, right now. 4 Scan the QR code at the venue to verify you actually met in person. A FEED WORTH OPENING Your feed is not strangers you will never meet. It is the people you have actually matched with, the venues you have been to, and the small local moments worth knowing about: • Friends sharing how a meetup went
 • Announcements from venue owners you follow - open-mic nights, new menus, guest DJs, and more
 • Reactions and replies from the community you are actually part of STAY CONNECTED WITH PLACES YOU LOVE Follow venues you already go to and get their announcements the moment they post. Café owners, bar managers, and gym hosts use IRL to tell regulars what is happening tonight - no algorithm in between. PRIVACY AND SAFETY FIRST • No last names
 • No email shown

IRL is the opposite - open the app for 30 seconds, close it, and meet actual humans. We only ping you when there is someone nearby who wants to hang out. NO ADS. NO BOTS. NO PAID MATCH PRIORITY. Just real people, in real places, looking to hang out right now. Currently available in Lisbon and Setúbal. More cities soon - email [email protected] and tell us where you want IRL next.
