What’s new

Version 1.4 · Updated September 24, 2026

Listen to your articles! New Read Aloud feature with natural AI voices — a full player with play/pause, skip, and speed controls, plus background playback with lock screen and headphone controls. Pick your favorite voice in Settings. Smart tags. Articles are automatically tagged on your device, with a new tag browser and a Topics view that groups your reading by subject. Tags you've finished reading are tucked away just like folders, and counts update as you read. Share from anywhere. Send links to Flux News from Safari and other apps with the new share extension. Faster everywhere. The app now opens instantly to your articles even before syncing, and search shows results immediately from articles on your device. Fixes. Unread badges update the moment you read, background refreshes no longer disturb the list you're reading, and the share sheet on Mac works again.
