Home Maintenance & Checklist

Your home needs attention. Stead makes sure nothing slips through the cracks. Most homeowners forget more than they remember — the water heater flush that prevents a $900 failure, the gutter cleaning that stops a $3,000 leak, the furnace filter that's been in since last winter. Not because they don't care. Because nobody told them when, and no app made it easy enough to stick with. Stead fixes that. SMART SCHEDULES, BUILT IN Set up your home in minutes. Stead knows the standard maintenance schedule for HVAC systems, water heaters, smoke detectors, gutters, roofs, exterior paint, plumbing, and more. You get a pre-built task list — no blank screen, no Googling. REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY HELP Not just a ping. Each reminder tells you what to do, how often, and why it matters. Store the details you always forget: your filter size, your water heater's age, the contractor who fixed your roof. LOG WHAT YOU'VE DONE Every completed task is saved with a date and optional notes. Your home builds a service history over time — useful for tax records, insurance claims, and when you eventually sell. SEASONAL CHECKLISTS Spring and fall each bring their own maintenance checklist. Stead surfaces the right tasks at the right time of year so you're not scrambling when the weather changes. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your home data stays on your device. No account required to get started. No selling your data. No ads. Just a clean, fast app that does one thing well.
