IncidentApp is an accident documentation app. It helps you record what happened after a car accident, a slip and fall, a dog bite, or another incident: photos, video, documents and witnesses, kept together in one timestamped record. WHEN IT HAPPENS Crisis Mode takes you through the scene one step at a time, so details are captured while they are fresh: a wide shot, the damage, the plates, the signs, the surface. Date, time and location go into the record with them. WHAT IT CAPTURES - A guided photo checklist for the scene and the vehicles - Scene video, recorded from inside the app - Witness names, contact details and a recorded account, on the spot - Voice memos when typing is not practical - Document scanning for driver's licenses, insurance cards, registrations and plates - A document vault organized by category EIGHT INCIDENT FLOWS Traffic accident, self-driving or driverless vehicle, slip, trip and fall, dog bite, workplace incident, product incident, rideshare or gig work, and pedestrian or cyclist. Each flow asks questions specific to that situation, such as the store and manager on duty after a fall, or what identifies a driverless vehicle. TAMPER-EVIDENT PHOTOS AND VIDEO Photos and videos captured in the guided flow get a SHA-256 hash on your device when they are saved. The hash is anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain through OpenTimestamps, with an exportable proof file. Any later change to a file is detectable against its hash.
