About Bibleway Bible in a Year

Bibleway is a daily Bible reading companion that guides you through all of Scripture in 365 days. Each day brings together the ESV Bible text, original devotional teaching, and a full audio episode — all in one place, beautifully designed for focused, unhurried reading. A Complete Daily Experience Open the app, tap Begin, and everything you need is waiting: 3–5 chapters of scripture, a devotional reflection, and an audio teaching. The reading and listening experience is unified — no switching between apps or tabs. Audio plays in the background and continues through your lock screen, so you can listen while commuting, working, or going for a walk. Built for Consistency A daily streak keeps your momentum visible. The calendar shows every day you've completed so you can see how far you've come. Set a daily reminder and Bibleway will nudge you at the time that works for you — without guilt, just a gentle invitation back to the page. Your Personal Notebook After each reading, a single tap opens a full-screen reflection editor. Write whatever comes to mind — a question, a prayer, a thought worth keeping. All your notes are saved privately on your device, organized by day and episode, and browsable from the Notebook tab whenever you want to revisit them. Designed for Deep Reading The interface is intentional: warm cream backgrounds, classic serif typography, ample space, and no clutter. Adjustable font sizes and light, dark, and sepia themes mean it's comfortable whether you're reading at dawn or winding down at night. This is a reading app that respects the text. Features: Full 365-day reading plan with ESV scripture Daily devotional teaching for every day Integrated audio with background playback and lock screen controls Daily reading streaks and completion tracking Full calendar view of your progress Personal reflection notebook — private, local, always yours Adjustable font size and light / dark themes Configurable daily reminders Seamless mini player across all tabs Walk with Jesus, read with us.

What’s new

Version 1.0.6 · Updated April 29, 2026

A small but meaningful update landed today. If you noticed that chapter numbers were missing from scripture passages — we did too, and they are fixed. Opening to Genesis 1 or John 3 now shows the chapter markers right where they belong, making it easier to follow along and find your place. We also took a hard look at the messages you see when something fails to load. The old errors were terse and unhelpful. The new ones are friendlier and a little more honest about what is happening so you are not left guessing. No new features this time — just tending to the things that were already planted. We believe the reading experience is worth getting right, down to the small details. Thank you for walking through the Word with us.
