About KudoKids: Chores & Rewards

You stopped being the reminder. The sticker chart lasted a week. The older kid outgrew it, the younger one said it wasn't fair, and every chore went back to coming out of your mouth. KudoKids is a chore chart, reward chart and routine helper in one app, set differently for each kid. They check off their own routines, earn Kudo Coins, and spend them on rewards you choose, including TV, tablet or gaming time at a price you set. Wondering if this is just more screen time dressed up? Fun time inside KudoKids stops at 60 minutes a day out of the box, for every kid, every day. Routines, stories and learning games stay open past it. We make it earned. Time in KudoKids is built to practice things like grit, kindness and handling money, in one place with no ads and kids' data never sold. HOW IT WORKS • Set routines and chores for each kid: morning, homework, bedtime, or your own. • Kids check them off and earn Kudo Coins. • Coins buy the rewards you create: an ice-cream trip, picking tonight's dinner, or minutes of screen time. • You choose which tasks and rewards need your sign-off, and approve each one with a tap. SCREEN TIME THEY EARN Kids spend the coins they earned on TV, tablet or gaming minutes. You decide what a minute costs and how many coins they can spend each day. KudoKids times the minutes; it doesn't lock other apps or devices. FOR PARENTS • See what got done, what was earned and where it went, for each kid. • Friend requests come to you first by default, and you can pause chat or turn friends off anytime. • One family dashboard, with routines and rewards set per child. WHAT KIDS GET • A cheerful app with Cosmo, the astronaut kid, and a cast of companions. • A growing library of games. Learning games earn Kudo Coins. • Stories, guided meditations, drawing, and a quick daily feelings check-in. Kudo Coins are earned in the app and can't be bought with money. FREE AND PREMIUM The free Explorer plan is the real product: routines and tasks, every game, the Space world, wellness check-ins, the parent dashboard, and Cosmo. KudoKids Premium adds the other themed worlds, companions, backgrounds, and companion looks and extras. It is sold in the app as a monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Premium also includes KudoKids AI, a parent-only assistant that runs on Google's Gemini service. Ask it to set up routines and rewards; you approve each change, and one tap undoes the routines, tasks and rewards it set up. No child ever uses it, and KudoKids doesn't keep your chats. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. What’s new

Version 1.1.29 · Updated October 23, 2026

Safer friends: a parent in each family approves every new friend from another family, and parents choose the nickname other families see. Games with other families are friends-only: a child from another family can join only as an approved friend, and kids get a kind note when a game isn't open to them. Coins: store prices are halved, and kids earn at a steadier pace with a short break between paid activities. Routine packs: add a ready-made set of routines from a link a teacher, therapist or coach shares, and preview it first. Parent check: take a photo of your signed consent form right in the app. New ways to stay in control: turn off sharing or change your consent any time, and verify yourself before inviting a specialist. Watch together: siblings can share Device Time in one session. Global leaderboards are now a per-child choice, off until you turn them on. Parent tips open right where you are, with a quick jump to the next tip. Maker Studio: a new 5-credit pack and a clearer buy screen. Easier to read and use, with better contrast, large-text support and screen-reader labels. Plus fixes that make KudoKids faster and more reliable.
