Chromesthize

Chromesthize visualizes music as color in real time. Play an instrument, put on a song, or sing — and watch as each musical note blooms into its own color on screen. Inspired by chromesthesia, a form of synesthesia where people see colors when they hear music, the app maps each of the 12 pitch classes to a distinct color. The result is an immersive, ever-shifting canvas that responds to whatever you're hearing. FEATURES - Real-time visualization of live audio through your microphone - Customizable color mappings — assign any color to any musical note - Presets inspired by famous synesthetes: Scriabin, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Newton - Hear each note while choosing its color with built-in tone preview - Adjustable glow, trail length, sensitivity, and contrast - Settings sync across devices via iCloud - Minimal, distraction-free interface — just music and color Whether you experience synesthesia yourself and want to match your personal color associations, or you're simply curious what your favorite music looks like, Chromesthize turns sound into something you can see.
