Birth month and year inputs refine Social Security, Medicare, and QCD timing, while RMD starting ages follow birth-year rules. Projections use 2026 federal tax tables and related limits as their starting point. Future indexed amounts are planning estimates, and the app is intended to be updated annually to reflect tax-law and threshold changes. This is an educational planning tool and does not model every IRS worksheet or edge case. It does not guarantee the absolute best strategy, but it can be a practical way to evaluate tradeoffs and prepare for conversations with your advisor.
