About OpenBible Global

Journal One journal for your Bible notes and chapter reflections, with Day (today), Week (Sunday–Saturday), and Month calendar views. Add a Bible note to any day with text, drawings, or photos. Open it from the Books list — it's the same journal as Settings → Journal in the reader. Richer notes Notes now support an on-screen drawing canvas with pen settings, photos from the camera or your library, thumbnails, and full-text search across your notes. Verse peek Touch and hold between verses to peek the verse above in your other language without leaving the chapter. Hidden when reading English only. Storage management & backup A new Storage screen shows what's stored on the device — including downloaded narration — so you can free space, with backup/restore support. iPad support The app now runs natively on iPad with full orientation support. Improvements Faster chapter loading — the open chapter starts painting from a compact 64 KB section instead of waiting for the whole book to parse. Reader type scaling — reader text and verse spacing scale to screen density so iPad reads consistently with iPhone. Keep English across the app — switching languages keeps English available; moving between books/chapters keeps the language you're reading, and the reader flips between English and your session language. Search stays in the native language so hits can flip back, and opens on English when the reader is flipped. Search icon availability — the Bible search icon now appears immediately for CSV-backed languages (e.g. Tamil) instead of only after leaving and re-entering the screen. Cleaner Books list header — a Journal shortcut sits alongside search and the study library. In-app feedback and refined screen analytics/review prompts. Fixes Fixed verse text being clipped at the end when the reader is zoomed to a large text size. Removed the empty banner shown at the top of the language screen on first launch. Fixed Books list header icons overlapping the title.
