About SLICE: Fraction & Math Puzzles

Never a numbers person? Try pies. SLICE turns math into pie puzzles you can see. Watch a short lesson, then play it: fill pies, cut them into equal slices, spin a spinner or read a pie chart. Two minutes a day is enough. 5 LEARNING PATHS, 161 PUZZLES • Foundations: fractions, decimals, percent, angles and clock time • Fraction Operations: add unlike slices, take a slice of a slice • Ratio & Proportion: share in a ratio, scale a recipe up • Percent & Money: discounts, tips and "what percent?" • Probability & Stats: spinner chances and pie charts SEE IT, THEN PLAY IT Every world starts with a short animated lesson. Pies split, merge and change color until the idea clicks. Then you try it yourself. ONE PIE, MANY NAMES 1/2 = 0.5 = 50% = 180° = 30 min. Same size, same color, every time. A pie key shows how degrees, minutes and percent fit one whole pie. MISTAKES THAT TEACH Every puzzle says what to do in plain words. Make two mistakes and a "Why?" card shows what went wrong. Each win shows how the pieces add up. A LITTLE EVERY DAY • Set a daily goal of 1, 3 or 5 puzzles • Keep your learning streak.
