About mesa recipes

Stop searching for recipes. Start cooking for your people. mesa is the meal planning app that learns who you actually cook for — for tables of every size. Every allergy, every preference, every schedule shapes every recipe you see. Built for your household, not an algorithm. Tell mesa about everyone at your table — Maya's dairy allergy, Daniel's vegetarian Tuesdays, the partner away Thursday. Every recipe gets filtered, scaled, and customized to fit. Cooking for two tonight and ten on Sunday? Same library, portioned automatically. A week of dinners in five minutes. Tap "plan my week" and mesa ai drafts a schedule from who's home each night, what's in your cookbook, and what you've been eating lately. Approve it, swap any meal, or hand parts back to redo. Leftovers slot into tomorrow with one tap. Plan the meals that matter to you. Dinner every night, or breakfast and lunch too — you choose which meals mesa plans, and on which days. Kids eating earlier, or eating something different? Plan two meals for the same night and mesa treats them as one cooking job instead of two. Eating patterns, recognized and respected. Low-FODMAP, Lactose-Free, Low-Oxalate, Low-Purine, Low-Residue and Gluten-Free can be selected per person, alongside allergies and foods you'd rather avoid. Recipes that may not fit are shown with a clear note about what's in them — never quietly removed — and where a food has a published tolerable serving, mesa shows the amount. A sous chef in your pocket. Ask mesa ai for a quick weeknight dinner or something to use up the chicken before it turns — and it draws on the recipes you've already saved, not just ours. Make any recipe gluten-free, swap the protein, scale it for two, and mesa rewrites it. Hands-free in the kitchen. Big readable type for messy hands, per-step ingredients, timers that call themselves out. Say "Hey Siri, next step" — your phone stays on the counter. On iPad, the whole step list sits beside the step you're on, with your week and grocery list a panel away. Included with your mesa subscription: • mesa ai chat — generate and adapt any recipe • Whole-week meal planning with smart leftovers • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner planning, on the days you want it • Per-person preferences, allergies, health diets, and portion scaling • Separate meals for kids and grown-ups on the same night • Grocery lists that build themselves from your meal plan • Instant sync across every device and everyone in the household • Recipe import from photos, PDFs, screenshots, the web, and the share sheet • Stored privately on Apple's iCloud — no extra accounts, no tracking Subscription details Monthly ($4.99) and annual ($49.99). One subscription covers your whole household — no per-person fees. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in App Store settings. A note on diets and food safety mesa is a finder, not a medical service. It labels recipes against recognized eating patterns so you can find options faster. It does not recommend any diet, and turning one on does not mean mesa considers it safe or right for you — that is a decision for you and your healthcare team. Diet labels and age-related food-safety notes are approximate and based on a recipe's ingredients, not lab analysis. Confirming that a recipe and its amounts fit your needs is up to you, with your care team or dietitian. Definitions draw on published guidance from recognized medical bodies, listed in the app. Mesa does not diagnose, treat, or give medical or nutritional advice. If you have a food allergy, a medical condition, or a question about what's right for you or your child, talk to a qualified professional. Your kitchen. Your table. Whoever's at it tonight. What’s new

Version 1.5 · Updated October 3, 2026

This is the update that finishes the plate. Complete your meal. Plan a main without a vegetable and mesa now suggests up to three sides that go with it, drawn from a new collection of sides in the mesa kitchen. Each one shows how much time it adds to the night. Pick one and it's planned alongside the main as a single cooking job. Plan my week offers sides too. Not in the mood? Dismiss it and carry on. Save the plates you love. A main and its sides can now be saved as a combo, with its own place in your cookbook. Add a saved combo to any night in one step, and its groceries are bought for the servings you planned. After cooking a combo night, mesa offers to keep that plate. Saved combos also turn up in tonight's suggestions and mesa ai's picks. On the meal plan, long-press a combo to move the whole plate to another day. Times that match how many you're feeding. Prep and cook times now reflect the servings you're actually making, on recipes, cards and widgets. Your max meal time in Plan my week counts the real time for the size of your table. Plan around the nights you cook. Tell mesa which nights you cook, and Plan my week leaves the other nights open. A week can now start on any day, up to 60 days ahead. A better cooking mode. A timer that's going off now offers +1 min, +5 min or Restart. Stop a ringing timer from the Lock Screen by saying "Stop the timer in mesa". A basket button shows the full ingredient list, with ticks shared across your household's devices. Cooking two dishes together, each step names its dish and what's next. Cooking mode also works from a keyboard on iPad and Mac. Diets and allergies. Low-FODMAP now lets you set your own tolerance for each FODMAP group, and warnings name the group. When the only allergen in a dish is something with a common swap, like oyster sauce or fish sauce, the dish now stays visible with the swap and a reminder to check the label. mesa ai, more helpful. Every message takes your household's diets and allergies into account. Ask "what should I make Thursday?" and add the answer straight to that night. Review a recipe without leaving the chat. Any mesa ai rewrite of a recipe can be undone. "Import a recipe" takes pasted text, a link, a file or a photo. Groceries. Edit any item's name, amount or aisle, and share the list with one tap. On iOS 27, a new full-page grocery widget lets you check items off from the Home Screen. More you'll notice: • Widgets show dish photos • One rating per night, even when you cooked two dishes • The Cook button shows how much of your mesa ai allowance it uses And as always, we kept working on keeping bugs out of your kitchen. Thank you for cooking with mesa.
