About DealMaps

NEW: VENDOR PINS Local vendors and small businesses can now post their own pin on the map — booth details, hours, what they're selling, and how to find them. Perfect for markets, fairs, and pop-up shops. CHAT SAFETY • New: Block any user directly from a chat — blocked users can no longer message you, and you won't be notified about messages from someone you've blocked. • New: Report a conversation that violates our guidelines, right from the chat. • New: A Blocked Users screen (under Account) lists everyone you've blocked, with a one-tap Unblock. • Fixed: blocked users could still trigger a push notification even though their message no longer appeared in your chat. MAP RELIABILITY • Fixed: a slow, deliberate pan to a new area could leave the map showing stale pins until something else refreshed it. • Fixed: live pin updates could stop working for the rest of your session if the connection hiccuped when the app launched. • Fixed: editing a garage sale or vendor listing's details didn't always show up on the map right away. • New: a dedicated Community Events filter chip, so you can browse just local events on the map. CLASSIFIEDS • Fixed: changing a classified listing's photo during an edit could silently fail to save. • New listings now go through the same content check as edits, so inappropriate posts are caught before they go live. • Content filtering now covers all listing detail fields (descriptions, vendor info, contact info), not just the title. ACCOUNT • Fixed: if account deletion failed, you were signed out with no explanation. You'll now see a clear alert and stay signed in so you can try again. Also includes general performance and stability improvements under the hood. Thanks for using DealMaps — as always, feedback and bug reports are welcome at [email protected].
