About Gomgom: Read & Debate Together

Read, write and discuss together. Gomgom is a Korean learning app for guardians and children in grades 1–9. Choose a grade, share reading, writing and debate activities, and revisit their records. Guardian verification: learning records are stored on the device first. Account synchronization requires a confirmed guardian email and a signed consent form reviewed and approved by a separate administrator. Revocation or expiry blocks uploads; device records remain available. CURRENT AVAILABILITY Reading, typed writing, device records, and offline debates with prepared guide cards are available. AI grading and feedback on your own writing, AI replies in debates, AI coaching, handwriting transcription, and live voice conversations are currently unavailable while service preparation continues. Giving guardian consent does not by itself enable these features. New Premium purchases remain closed until service availability is confirmed. Existing purchase restoration and subscription management remain accessible. The feedback experience uses prepared sample answers and feedback. Compare a short answer with one that includes a reason to explore the criteria. It does not grade your own writing in real time or send it to AI. Read alongside your child. Ask about their reasons and leave room for their own words. Learning content is designed for Korean-language practice. This listing helps Korean-speaking families discover the app. START TOGETHER: GRADES 1–3 • Explore short stories and approachable questions matched to the selected grade. • Listen or read, then optionally leave a sentence of your own. • Finish a reading activity without being required to write. • Try everyday debate topics and consider both sides. EXPLORE THEIR REASONS: GRADES 4–9 • Read passages for essay writing and mathematical reasoning. • Type your thoughts and save them on the device. • Choose a topic and a stance, explain your thinking, consider another view, and finish your debate. AN EASIER DAILY START • Choose your child's grade in a single setup screen, then explore prepared writing and feedback examples. • Start with writing, then move to debate from the simplified navigation. • Review your own words in a visual debate map and turn on optional focus music when you want it. • Explore 3D Gomgom and learning illustrations. • Use layouts adapted for both phones and tablets. RECORDS TO REVISIT TOGETHER • Keep reading, writing, and debate records. • Use separate child profiles with grade-based activities. • Revisit learning records and growth reports in the guardian view. • Find material for family reading and discussion. Guide-card debates follow three steps: share a view and reason, respond to another view, and bring your thoughts together. Read prepared prompts and revisit your own words in the argument map. Resume unfinished debates; your writing is saved on the device first. Guide cards and argument maps are not AI replies or AI assessments. AI features require service availability, verified guardian consent, and separate consent for AI processing. Once available, they should be used alongside your child. Responses can be incorrect or inappropriate for the situation, so review the writing and feedback together. When using AI features, submitted text, requested handwriting images, or voice may be sent to AI processing services for response generation. See the in-app consent information and Privacy Policy for details. SUBSCRIPTION Gomgom Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. It renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of that period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. The price and included features are shown before purchase.
