thingstry

thingstry is a social discovery network for things and places you actually like and designed to help you decide what to do, get, or try. Most platforms are built around identity and attention. thingstry shifts the focus toward discovery, context, and real-world decisions. Instead of focusing on who’s posting, thingstry centers on what’s being shared, so you can discover, curate, and share the things you genuinely like, creating a network driven by curiosity, not performance. From hidden spots to everyday favorites, content is contextual, searchable, and tied to place, so what you find is actually useful when you need it. Whether you’re exploring nearby or saving ideas for later, thingstry helps you move from browsing to deciding. No selfies. No pressure. No keeping up. Just real content about real things. What you can do on thingstry: • Discover places, products, and experiences based on context, not popularity • Curate collections of things you genuinely like and want to try • Share what you love, useful finds, and help others discover what fits their moment • Search by location, interest, or intent • Explore without the noise of identity-driven social media
