About Rooted: Bible Reading & Study

Most Bible apps reward streaks. Miss a day and you feel it. Rooted is built differently. No streaks. No daily targets. No notifications counting your missed readings. Just the text — exactly where you left it — waiting whenever you come back. ******* A Bible Reader Built for Real Life Most reading plans assume every day is the same. Life isn’t. Rooted is designed for the person who reads faithfully some weeks and disappears for others — and wants to return without shame. Read a chapter. Stop when you’re ready. Come back tomorrow or next month. The path continues exactly where you left it. ******* Reading Paths Reading Paths guide you through Scripture one chapter at a time — without due dates or pressure to catch up. • Bible Overview — Key chapters that follow the story of Scripture from Creation to the early Church. A grounded place to begin. • Rooted Plan — Narrative, Wisdom, and New Testament readings woven together across all 66 books. • Deep Plan — Adds the Epistles for richer Old and New Testament connections. • Simple Plan — A straightforward path through the Old and New Testaments together. The path waits. There’s no falling behind. ******* Tap Any Word. Go Deeper. Every word in Scripture connects to its original Hebrew or Greek. Tap any word to see: • Strong’s number • Transliteration • Morphological detail • Every verse where the word appears Insights that once required a seminary library are now available in a single tap. ******* Focused Tools. Nothing Extra. • Highlights & Notes — Mark what stands out. Capture a thought while it’s fresh. • Favorites — Collect verses worth returning to. • Reader Settings — Adjust font size, line spacing, and themes (Light, Sepia, Dark, Black). Everything is designed to keep the focus on the text. ******* Completely Offline. Completely Private. The entire Bible and all word study data live on your device. No account required. No waiting for a connection. No data sent anywhere. iCloud sync keeps your highlights, notes, and reading progress aligned across your Apple devices — privately. ******* Scripture & Translation Bible text comes from the World English Bible (WEB) — a modern English translation in the public domain.
