What’s New in Athar Athar comes closer to you in this update, so your heart stays connected to prayer wherever you are. Prayer in the Dynamic Island Open Athar before the adhan and the countdown to the next prayer stays in front of you, at the top of the screen and on your Lock Screen, even while you are in another app. The Dynamic Island appears on iPhones that have it. On other iPhones the countdown appears on the Lock Screen. Colors that remind you gently The counter shifts from gold to orange to red as the adhan draws near. It is a quiet reminder that your appointment with God is close. After the adhan After each adhan, Athar shows how much time has passed, so you can pray at the very start of the time. Athar widgets, for the first time Prayer times are now in front of you without opening the app. One glance at your phone and you know how long is left until the next prayer. A new Lock Screen: the next prayer, its adhan time and its countdown, all at a glance without unlocking your phone. More refined Home Screen widgets: an elegant border surrounds the prayer, istighfar and dua widgets. On the prayer widget, the border changes color as the adhan approaches, then turns green once the time has come. Prayer times and the Hijri date, in three sizes to suit your screen. Duas and adhkar that refresh right on your Home Screen. Beautiful backgrounds to choose from. How the tasbih makes remembrance easier Most people don’t neglect dhikr on purpose. They simply forget. The new tasbih puts it in front of you every time you look at your phone. Istighfar with a single tap: the button is on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, and one tap counts your tasbih without opening the app. You see today’s count, your total and your daily streak, so you keep your wird going and your tongue stays moist with the remembrance of God. The count is the same in the app and the widget, and it is saved automatically, so nothing gets lost. Add the widget to your Home Screen Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen until the icons jiggle. Tap the plus button at the top. Search for Athar, or pick it from the list. Swipe to choose the size you like, then tap Add Widget. Tap Done. Add it to your Lock Screen Touch and hold your Lock Screen. Tap Customize, then choose Lock Screen. Tap the area below the clock. Choose Athar, then tap the widget you want. Tap Done. Change the background Touch and hold the widget on your Home Screen. Tap Edit Widget. Tap Background, then pick the one you like. Backgrounds apply to Home Screen widgets. The Lock Screen look is set by iOS. Don’t keep it to yourself Tell your family and friends about Athar.
