About AromaiA

AromaiA brings essential oils, medicinal plants and fruit and vegetable juices together in one app, and tells you where every piece of information comes from. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE RELYING ON Every property can show you its provenance: the European monograph, where the European Medicines Agency has assessed the plant; traditional use, where it is recognised as such; aromatherapy practice, for what the field documents day to day. All three are sources, and the app never conflates them. A great deal of aromatherapy has never been the subject of a European monograph, and that makes it no less valuable — simply documented elsewhere. You always know which one you are reading. SAFETY STAYS WITH YOU Fill in your profile — age, pregnancy, breastfeeding, current medication, particular conditions — and the app adapts to you. The precautions that concern you appear at the top of the sheet, where they get read. The dilution shown takes account of both your profile and the oil's own documented maximum, and always keeps the more cautious of the two. WHAT YOU GET • Essential oil sheets: composition, routes of use, dilutions, precautions and contraindications. • Plant sheets: part used, preparation, duration, minimum age. • Juice recipes, with what the glass really provides. • Search by ailment, forgiving of typos. • Questionnaires to take stock, simply. • Everything works offline, in French and English. A COMPANION, NOT A DOCTOR AromaiA informs and guides you. It does not diagnose and does not replace advice from a healthcare professional. If symptoms persist, worsen, or affect a young child, the app will invite you to seek advice. No advertising. No account to create. Your answers stay on your device.

What’s new

Version 2.0.2 · Updated September 9, 2026

FIVE NEW PLANTS Ispaghula husk, lemon balm, arnica, linseed and bilberry join the catalogue. For each one you will find the part of the plant to use, how to prepare it, for how long, from what age, and when it is better to abstain. SEE WHERE EACH PIECE OF INFORMATION COMES FROM A new "Show sources" button on every sheet. With one tap, each property tells you what it rests on: an official source, recognised traditional use, or the practice of aromatherapists. You choose when to show it. SAFETY GATHERED IN ONE PLACE Everything worth knowing before using an oil or a plant now sits in a single card, from the most important to the lightest, drug interactions included. CLEARER JUICES Every recipe tells you what the glass really provides, with a "before you drink it" panel. And when a fruit is out of season, the app suggests what to use instead. A CATALOGUE REVIEWED FROM END TO END Every sheet has been revisited in the light of European monographs and ANSES opinions, so that what you read stays as close as possible to what is documented. BETTER ON IPAD, MAC AND IN LANDSCAPE The app now makes the most of larger screens: more content at a glance, a crisp launch screen, and swipe-back that responds wherever you place your finger.
