Call Home: Pitch Calling

Every other pitch-calling option either didn’t work reliably, required expensive hardware or cost too much. Call Home was created to give teams a simpler, more affordable alternative using an iPhone and Apple Watch. TRY IT FREE Coaches receive their first 50 live-game pitch calls free, providing an opportunity to try Call Home during actual game action. After the first 50 calls, the coach app is just $9.99 per month. Only the coach needs a subscription. The Apple Watch player app is always free; players pay nothing to receive calls. BUILT FOR BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL Call Home includes separate baseball and softball interfaces designed around the way each sport calls pitches. Choose Baseball or Softball in Settings, and the app immediately displays the appropriate interface and sport-specific default pitch choices. The dedicated softball interface features softball pitch defaults—including rise, drop and screwball options—and bright softball-yellow styling. Pitch selections can be customized for each individual pitcher in either sport. NO SPECIALIZED HARDWARE TO BUY There is no need to purchase expensive pitch-calling transmitters, receivers, wristbands or proprietary hardware. The Call Home player app for Apple Watch is free. Players pay nothing to receive calls. THREE WAYS TO RECEIVE EACH CALL Every team can decide how its players receive calls: • Visually on Apple Watch • Verbally through AirPods paired with Apple Watch • Privately through Apple Watch haptic feedback A pitcher or catcher can view the call on the Watch, hear it through an AirPod or rely on haptic feedback. How the call is received is completely up to the player, coach and team. PRIVATE TEAM CONNECTION The coach chooses a private Watch Code in the iPhone app. The code can be a team name, secret word or anything the coach chooses. Players enter the same code in the Call Home Watch app to connect with the coach. The code remains hidden while pitch calls are displayed, helping protect the team’s communication during the game. BUILT FOR GAME DAY • Send pitch and location calls in seconds • Receive confirmation when the player gets the call • Run a three-call pregame test before taking the field • Switch instantly between baseball and softball • Customize six pitch choices for each pitcher • Save individual profiles for as many as 10 pitchers • Quickly select the active pitcher during the game • Change pitch names to match your team’s terminology • Use baseball and softball default pitch selections • Communicate without expensive specialized hardware DESIGNED FOR ONE-WAY COMMUNICATION Call Home is designed for coach-to-player communication under rules that permit one-way electronic communication during baseball and softball games. Rules can vary by organization, age division, tournament and location. Coaches are responsible for confirming the rules that apply to each competition. Call Home is not affiliated with or endorsed by any baseball or softball governing organization.
