WuW (pronounced "Woah") is a social app for tracking and recommending TV shows and movies within your inner circle of friends. No algorithms. No influencers. Just the people you trust. Friends recommend shows and movies all the time — in group chats, at dinners, in passing. But those recommendations disappear. They get buried in texts, lost in notes, and forgotten. There's no way to know when multiple friends are telling you to watch the same thing, and no connection between hearing a rec and actually watching it. TRACK YOUR QUEUE Keep a running list of everything you're watching, everything you've watched, and everything you want to watch. One tap to move between Watchlist, Watchin, and Watched. Your queue is private — only you can see it. RATE WHAT YOU WATCH Score shows and movies on a scale of 1 to 10. Your ratings are visible to friends so they can see what you loved and what you didn't. RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS When you find something great, recommend it. Broadcast to your entire network or send it directly to a specific friend. Recommending is a deliberate action — it means "I think you should actually watch this." GET YOUR CUE This is the magic. WuW tracks when multiple friends independently recommend the same show or movie to you. When enough of them do, you get a cue — a notification that says "pay attention, this one matters." You set your own threshold: maybe 3 friends is enough, maybe you need 5. The cue only counts recommendations from people in your network.
