Barista Journal is a logbook for your espresso and filter coffee. You record each brew, keep track of your beans and find the settings that work for your setup, at home or behind a bar. For each shot you log dose, yield, time and grind setting. The timer starts by itself when it hears or feels the pump. If you connect a Bookoo or Acaia scale, the app records weight and flow live and stops the timer once the shot ends. Filter coffee works too, with a pour-over like the V60 or with a French press. The scale detects each pour. If you saved a pour plan, the app tells you while you brew when to pour and up to which weight. You save your best recipes on the bean, one for espresso and one for filter if you like. One tap on "Brew" loads dose, grind size and pours into a new brew. Your bean library holds roaster, origin, roast level and roast date, plus your tasting notes. Paste the roaster's link and the app fills in most of it for you. Add your machine, grinder and baskets from more than 60 templates or create your own. Your dashboard and archive show which beans and settings got your best ratings. In the community tab you see the top-rated recipes from other users. If you share your own brews, they appear without your name. You don't need an account. Your beans, brews and recipes are backed up
