About The Wine Vault
Point The Wine Vault at any bottle and know what to do with it. In the shop, at a friend's table, or in your own cellar: scan the label and the app tells you what the wine is, whether it is worth it at that price, and when to open it. No typing, no guessing, no scrolling through a database. WHAT'S THIS BOTTLE? Scan a label and get a short, honest brief: producer, region, grapes, vintage, and a verdict on the bottle in front of you. Text recognition runs on your iPhone first, so it works in a dim shop aisle. KNOW WHEN TO OPEN IT Every bottle you keep gets a drink window for that wine and that vintage, not a generic chart. The cellar shows what is ready now. YOUR CELLAR, KEPT FOR YOU Add a bottle in one tap after the scan. The vault remembers what you have, what you paid, what you thought of it, and what you would buy again. AT THE TABLE Photograph a restaurant wine list and get three picks for your taste, each with a reason. Free members get three menu scans a month. WHAT PAIRS WITH DINNER? Type what you are cooking and the sommelier matches a bottle from your own cellar, or suggests a dish for the bottle you feel like opening. SHARE THE CELLAR One vault for the household. Everyone sees the same bottles, notes and wish list. FREE TO START Scanning and keeping bottles is free. Keeper, a monthly or yearly subscription, adds the memory: tasting history, insights, timing, and 100 sommelier pairings a month. What’s new
Version 1.1.17 · Updated September 16, 2026
A clearer front door. - The first thing the app asks is the thing it does best: point it at a bottle. One photo of the label tells you what it is, whether it is worth it, and when to open it - Your palate setup follows the first brief instead of standing in front of it, and you can revisit it any time from the home screen - The bottle verdict no longer tells a brand-new user to skip everything. With no taste history it reads the bottle, says so, and gets personal once you rate a few - A Dutch listing, and the website links to the App Store from every browser Thanks for keeping bottles with us.
